I’m Sindy van Wyk, a wellness entrepreneur, certified personal trainer, and someone who was truly made for movement. My career started in fashion and retail buying at Pep, but I quickly realised I wasn’t made to sit behind a desk—I thrive outdoors, walking, hiking, cycling, running, and connecting with others through social fitness.
Over the years, CrossFit and bodybuilding have played a significant role in my fitness journey, and coaching as a CrossFit Level 1 coach has been a passion throughout. While these experiences shaped me, my current focus is metabolic health and encouraging people to move in ways they love—not following one specific fitness regime. From my bespoke EMS studio run from home, I help women prioritise muscle maintenance and overall vitality. I guide others toward sustainable, healthy lifestyles through informed choices and practical application, including my role as a facilitator for the 16 Hours for Life program.
Through my work with the True You Movement, I help women unlock the God-given potential already inside them. Movement is the key that opens the door—not just for fitness, but for transformation in body, mind, and spirit. I guide people to unlock their true selves and step into their purpose.
My path hasn’t been perfect. I’ve faced ups and downs, imperfect eating habits, and times where I had to learn to listen to my body instead of forcing it. I’m not the “perfect athlete” type, and I’m okay with that. I know who I am, and my identity is a big part of why I confidently do what I do. What I strive for—and model—is real life: progress over perfection, making better choices each day, owning my metabolic health, and living a healthy, joyful life on the move.
I actively participate in various voluntary networks where I serve, grow, and collaborate with others. I’m passionate not just about transformation, but about true fitness, health, and wellness across all areas—physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, relational, and financial. I love helping others move from stuck to strong by using fitness as a gateway to unlock their hearts, ignite their identity, and spark their purpose.
Today, my primary focus is empowering women to live fully and confidently, guiding them toward their best selves.
